For Manufacturers

Represent your line in California

We're an equipment-only manufacturers' representative building a California line card. If you need coverage here, this page is for you.

The proposition

What you get that an established agency can't offer

Undivided Attention

We are new, and that is the argument. An established agency makes your line one of dozens, competing internally for the same sales hours. Take a category with us and you are not competing with anything, because there is nothing else in it.

No Channel Conflict

We carry no service department. We do not install, we do not maintain, and we never bid work against the contractors who buy your equipment. Your channel stays intact, and contractors specify lines from a rep who is not their competitor.

Specification, Not Just Orders

Selection and sizing, submittal packages ready for plan check, and the air district work that decides whether your equipment can be permitted here at all. Orders follow specifications; we work at the specification end.

Territory Built Around You

Southern California is home ground and we quote statewide. We would rather structure coverage around the territory you actually need filled than claim a map we cannot service.

Why it matters to you

A rep who isn't their competitor gets specified

Most equipment suppliers in this state also run a service department. Which means the firm presenting your boiler to a mechanical contractor on Monday may be bidding against that contractor on Thursday. Contractors know it, and they price that knowledge into who they specify.

We have no service trucks and no field technicians. There is nobody here to send, so there is nothing to be careful about. That is distribution reach a service-owning rep cannot buy at any price, and it belongs to your line, not to ours.

The hard questions

What you're probably thinking

You don’t do service. Doesn’t that cost us startup and warranty coverage?

It changes who performs it, not whether it happens. We schedule factory-authorized startup with your technician or your approved service network, register the warranty, and coordinate the contractor around that date. What we do not do is insert ourselves between you and the service revenue, or between the contractor and their customer.

A rep with a service arm gets us parts velocity. What do we lose?

You lose a rep who also profits from your equipment failing. We sell parts across the counter to whoever is holding the wrench, without preferring our own crews, because we have none. In practice that widens the buying base rather than narrowing it.

You have no track record. Why would we take the risk?

Because the risk is bounded and the alternative is not. A new agency with one line in a category has every incentive aligned with yours, and you can measure us on specification activity inside a season. We would rather be judged on that than on a history we do not have.

How many competing lines will you carry?

None in the same category. That is the whole proposition, and we will put it in writing.

Tell us what you need covered

The categories currently open are on our products page. If yours isn't listed, say so. The line card isn't finished, which is rather the point.

Useful in a first message: the territory you need filled, whether it's an open or an existing position, and what your current California coverage looks like.
